Ducks In Flight Waterfowl Hunting, LLC. is owned and operated by Henry and Lynn Dierker, who have provided exciting waterfowl hunts to hunters from all over the country for over twenty years.
Ducks In Flight is a State of Maryland licensed Regulated Shooting Area that consists of 523 acres with 22 impoundments (ponds) to hunt. 17 of which have ice-eaters running during the hunting season. The open water gives the birds a place to light when all other water sources are frozen over. This is a plus when hunting ducks.
Ducks are all "free-flight" Mallards and all hunts are from blinds using decoys. We employ licensed, experienced hunting guides to ensure you have the best chance at a sucessful hunt.

Hunting Requirements
Below are the items that you are required to bring to hunt with us:
- 1. Hunting License.
- 2. Photo I.D.
- 3. State and Federal Waterfowl Stamps.
- 4. Shotgun (We suggest that you do some shooting before you come especially if you have a brand new gun).
- 5. Non-Lead ammunition (see FAQ for more info).
- 6. Appropriate camoflauge exterior outerwear (see Important Info below for suggestions).
- 7. Mud boots.
Important Information
Please make sure you arrive 45 minutes prior to your shooting time. You will need to complete paperwork provide documents to hunt.
Dress for the weather. Layering is suggested since the weather can change. We highly suggest that your external outerwear be camoflage. Mud boots are an important part of your hunting attire since you will need to cross fields that may be wet and muddy.
There are snacks, water and coffee available at the Hunt Office. You may want to bring extra items of your choice to snack on in the blind.
Please bring with you Non-lead shot only. We suggest shot sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6. Lead shot is prohibited by federal law and is NOT allowed on the prmeises.
Please be sure to let Henry and Lynn know ahead of time if you would like to bring your hunting dog. You are also required to bring a crate for your dog in case you need to confine him/her. Dogs need to be on a leash at all times when not in the blind or on a retrieve, especially up around the Hunt Office.
We suggest that you take inexperienced hunters to shoot a few rounds of sporting clays prior to your hunt date to become acclimated to shooting the gun at a moving target.
Please let us know ahead of time if you have a elderly or disabled Hunter in your group that will need assistance getting to and from the blind.
